Our office is tucked away at 4 400 Bn Nagar, right on Street No 12 in Shahdara. If you know this part of Delhi, you know it can get pretty crowded and noisy, but it’s home for us. Divya Portfolio Pvt Ltd has been operating out of this small space for a good amount of time. We have a few old filing cabinets that are probably too full, but we know where everything is. The street outside is always full of life, with vendors passing by and neighbors chatting. Inside, it’s mostly just us working on computers and talking about numbers. The lighting isn't the best in the back room, so we mostly stay near the front windows where the sun comes in during the afternoon. We don't really do the whole fancy office thing. It’s just a place where we get the work done and try to stay organized. Sometimes the internet acts up when it rains, but that’s just how it goes in Shahdara. We have a small kettle for making chai when the weather turns a bit cold in the winter. It’s not a big operation, just a few of us trying to keep things moving. We like being part of this neighborhood because everyone knows each other. You can hear the sounds of the street all day long, which keeps us from feeling too isolated while we handle the daily tasks. We are just regular people doing our jobs in a corner of the city we know well.
