Our office is tucked away in Lodhi Colony, right at 18/383. New Delhi is a crowded place, but this neighborhood has its own feel compared to the newer parts of the city. We have been operating as Donga Geological Engineering for some time now. Most of the guys here spend more time out in the field than sitting at their desks, which is just how the work goes when you are dealing with rocks and soil. The office usually has a few maps pinned to the walls and a coffee machine that gets a lot of use. We handle a lot of the technical side of engineering projects around the country from this small spot. It can get pretty noisy outside with the traffic, but once you are inside, we just focus on getting the reports done. We aren’t a big corporate firm with a glass building; we are just a group of engineers and staff trying to keep things moving. Sometimes the paperwork piles up, and other times we are all out on site visits for weeks. It is a bit of a balancing act. People around Lodhi Colony might see us coming and going at odd hours depending on where the latest project is located. We keep it simple and just do the work that is expected of us without any extra fuss or unnecessary complications.
