Delhi Public School

This particular Delhi Public School is located at Plot No. 55 in Nehru Park. We are very close to the Pal Balaji Mandir, which is a major landmark around here. Because of the temple, the whole area gets very busy on certain days of the week. You can often hear the temple bells or the music from the street. Our school sits on a decent-sized plot. It’s a standard school building with several floors. We have a gate where the kids come in, and there is usually a guard there to watch the traffic. Nehru Park is a nice enough area, but it gets its fair share of dust and noise. Inside the school, things are pretty routine. We have the usual hallways, some stairs, and classrooms filled with benches. It’s a big name school, but this branch feels like a local part of the community. We see the same parents every day and the local vendors know when our lunch break is. The playground is where most of the action happens in the afternoon. It’s not a perfect place—the paint might be peeling in a few corners and the fans make a bit of a racket—but it’s where we spend our days. We just focus on the daily schedule and making sure the bells ring on time. It’s a regular school day for us, nothing more and nothing less.
