De Indian Public School

De Indian Public School is located over in Pocket 11, Sector 24, Rohini. It’s a decent sized building and we’ve been here for a good while now. Being in Sector 24 means we get a lot of local families from the surrounding pockets. The school day starts early, and you can hear the kids arriving from a block away. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles, just the usual classrooms and a place for the students to run around. The staff here is mostly local people who just want to see the kids do okay. We spend a lot of time on lesson plans and marking work. It’s not always pretty, and sometimes the hallways are a bit noisy, but it is a functioning school. We don't use those big words or try to act like we are something we aren't. We are just a neighborhood school. The playground equipment gets a lot of wear and tear, and the library is always a bit disorganized because the kids actually use the books. That’s fine by us. We just focus on the daily schedule and making sure everyone is where they are supposed to be. It’s a practical place for learning. Sector 24 is a busy part of Rohini, and we fit right into the middle of it. No fluff, just normal school life every single day.
