So, we are Dav Inter College, and you can find us over in Hari Nagar, New Delhi, zip code 110064. It’s a busy part of the city, that’s for sure. The school has been part of this neighborhood for quite a bit. To be honest, managing a school in Delhi means dealing with a lot of noise from the streets, but once you get inside the gates, it settles down a little. We spend a lot of time just keeping up with the daily chores. There’s always a desk that needs fixing or a lightbulb that’s gone out in one of the back hallways. We aren’t some high-tech institution with glass walls; we’re just a brick-and-mortar place where kids come to learn their subjects. The mornings are always a bit of a rush with the rickshaws and parents dropping kids off at the corner. We try to keep things moving so nobody gets stuck in the morning jam. It’s a simple life here, really. We focus on the books and the exams and making sure everyone has what they need. Sometimes the office gets a bit cluttered with files and old registers, but we know where everything is. It’s just a normal school day for us, starting early and ending when the last kid heads home towards the main road. We’ve been around long enough that the locals know where to find us if they need anything.
