Our office is located at No. 25/11 in C Block, right in the middle of Connaught Place. Being in the center of Delhi means it’s always loud and there’s always something happening right outside the window. We’ve got a view of the inner circle, but we’re usually too busy with the work to look at it. The building is one of those old ones with the high ceilings and thick walls. It stays a bit cooler in there during the summer, which we all really appreciate. We’ve got a small team here at Darj Food and Beverages. We don't have any big meetings with fancy slides or long presentations. We usually just gather around someone’s desk and figure things out as they come up. There’s a lot of paperwork because of the nature of this business, so we have piles of folders everywhere you look. Sometimes the lift in the building stops working, and we have to take the stairs, which isn't great when we’re carrying heavy bags or boxes. We know the local shops around here pretty well by now. Most days, we’re just trying to get our orders out on time without any mistakes. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking lists. We aren't a big corporation; we’re just a bunch of people working in a historic part of the city.
