D C Engineering Works

We are over here at 465/1 G T Road. Gali No 1 in Friends Colony is where the shop sits, right in that busy industrial stretch. It gets pretty loud around here with all the trucks moving on the main road, but once you turn into the lane, it’s mostly just the sound of our machines humming along. D C Engineering Works has been in this spot for a while now. The workshop floor is always covered in iron shavings and a bit of oil, which is just how it goes when you’re dealing with metal every day. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we all go grab some tea from the stall at the corner of Gali No 1 until the generator kicks in. It’s not a fancy place, just a lot of steel and old tools. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy with the lathes and drills to worry about that. Most of the guys here live nearby, so they just walk or cycle in. We keep things pretty simple. If you look for us, we are just past the main industrial gates. The shop is tucked in there. It’s a practical setup, nothing more than what’s needed to get the parts finished. You can usually find someone out front by the heavy gate moving crates around. That's just the daily life here at the works.
