Crafts & Complements

We've been here in South Extension-2 for a while now, tucked away on the second and third floors of K-17. It's not a fancy storefront you’d see from the street, but once people find us, they usually come back. The name Crafts & Complements sounded right when we started because we deal with a lot of different bits and pieces that go together. Some days it’s quiet, and other days the stairs are busy with people coming up to see what we've got. We spend most of our time organizing stock or checking over things that just came in. It’s a lot of work keeping two floors running, especially when the lift is acting up or the heat gets bad in the summer. We aren't trying to be the biggest place around, just a steady spot where things get done properly. Most of our regulars are folks from around the neighborhood or people who heard about us from a friend. We don't do much advertising, mostly just word of mouth. Sometimes we run out of space because the inventory piles up, but we manage. It’s just us here most days, making sure the orders are right and the place stays somewhat tidy. Being in South Ex means there’s always something happening outside, but up here it’s mostly just focused work. We like it that way.
