Choko La

Over at Vasant Kunj 114A, we spend our days surrounded by the smell of sweets and chocolate. It’s a decent spot to be in, and we’ve made a lot of friends in the neighborhood since we started. We aren't trying to be the flashiest shop on the block. Mostly, we just focus on making sure the shelves are stocked and the items are fresh. People stop in while they are running errands or when they need something quick for a gift. We see a lot of the same faces every week. It’s nice to have that kind of connection with the people around here. The shop isn't massive, but we make good use of the space we have. Sometimes the deliveries arrive all at once and it gets a little cramped for an hour or so, but we manage to get everything sorted eventually. We don't have a big corporate team telling us how to act or what to say. We just treat people like neighbors because that’s what they are to us. When you walk in, you’ll usually find one or two of us tidying up or helping someone pick out a box of something for their family. It’s a quiet kind of work, but it suits us just fine. Vasant Kunj is a busy area with a lot going on, but once you step inside our door, things feel a little bit more relaxed and simple for a few minutes while you look around.
