Chocolate Passion

Our place is tucked away in the side basement of A-28 over in Naraina Vihar. It is not the easiest spot to find if you are not already looking for it, but we have been working out of here for a good bit now. Chocolate Passion is basically just a small workshop where we spend most of our waking hours. Since we are down in a basement, it stays a little cooler than the street level, which actually helps quite a lot when you are working with things that melt easily in the Delhi heat. It is not a fancy showroom with glass cases or anything like that. It is mostly just us, some heavy tables, and a lot of ingredients piled up against the walls. We spend a lot of time just figuring out the next batch of whatever we are making. Some days it is very quiet down here, and other days it is a bit of a mess with boxes and wrappers everywhere. Living and working in Naraina Vihar has its own rhythm, and we have just kind of blended into the neighborhood over the years. People sometimes poke their heads in to see what we are doing down here in the side basement. We do not really have any big speeches or plans. We just make things, pack them up into crates, and try to keep the place somewhat organized. The basement can feel a bit cramped when we have a lot of orders to finish, but we always make it work somehow. It is just a small local operation.
