Vikas Export

We are based in Chandni Chowk, which is probably the busiest trading hub you could find. Running Vikas Export from this area means we are right in the thick of the old city's history and its daily madness. The lanes are so narrow that you can barely walk through them when the rickshaws are trying to pass. Our office is tucked away in one of these traditional buildings. It’s not a modern office block; it’s a place with character and a lot of dust. We deal with all sorts of export queries while the smell of spices and street food drifts in through the vents. The walls are thin, so we hear our neighbors talking and the constant shouting of the porters carrying heavy loads on their backs. It’s a challenging place to work if you’re used to quiet, but for us, it’s just how things are. We have a lot of ledgers piled up and the phone never really stops ringing. We don't have a lot of room to move around, so everything has its specific place. The power cuts are frequent, but we have a backup system that keeps the fans going. It’s an honest way to make a living, right in the center of where trade has been happening for hundreds of years. We don't use any fancy management software; we just keep track of everything manually and make sure our word is kept.
