K. Kapoor Exports is right in the heart of old Delhi at 756 Katra Neel. If you have ever been to Chandni Chowk, you know how busy and packed it gets. Katra Neel is one of those famous spots where a lot of the trading happens. We have our place tucked away in there. It’s an old area with a lot of history and very narrow lanes. You have to navigate through the crowds and the carts to find us at number 756. We deal with exports, so there is always a lot of packing and moving things around. The space isn't big, but we make use of every inch we have. It’s noisy and dusty outside most of the time, but that’s just how Chandni Chowk is. We have been here for quite some time. It’s a family-style environment even though we do business with far-off places. There’s no fancy lobby or air-conditioned waiting room. It’s just stacks of goods and people working hard. We drink our tea and get the orders ready for shipping. Katra Neel has its own rhythm. You get used to the shouting of the vendors and the smell of the market. We are just one small part of this massive place. It’s honest work and we like being right where the action is. The electrical wires hang low in the street, but nobody minds. That is the way we do things here.
