We are located out in Kuttaladampatty, which is a bit of a trek if you are coming from the main city areas of Tamil Nadu. Our address is 1/98A, and we’ve been part of this landscape for a long time. At Cethar Vessels Ltd, we deal with a lot of heavy equipment and metalwork. It can get very hot under the sun out here, especially in the middle of the day. The workshop is usually noisy with the sound of machinery and tools hitting metal. It’s a dusty environment sometimes, but that is the nature of the work we do. We have a lot of local guys from the surrounding villages who come in to work every shift. We don't have fancy brochures or a glossy front office. Most of the space is taken up by the actual production areas. You’ll see big parts of vessels sitting around waiting for the next stage of assembly. Life moves at a different pace in this part of the 636 301 pincode area. We start early to beat the worst of the heat. It’s honest work and we’ve been doing it this way for years. People around here know us as the place with the big sheds. We just keep our heads down and focus on finishing the orders that come through our gates every week.
