Ceratech Engineers

We are over at 198, Sarojini Nagar Market, right by the Ring Road. It’s a noisy spot because of the traffic and the shoppers, but we’ve been here for years. The shop is filled with various parts and tools we use every day. We do a lot of engineering work and general repairs for whoever walks in. Most of the day is spent looking at old drawings or trying to fix a machine that someone brought in. It’s dusty work. We have a few lathes and some old equipment that still works better than the new stuff they sell now. People from the neighborhood come to us for small fixes, and we also handle larger orders for local factories. Being on the Ring Road makes it easy for deliveries to reach us, even if parking a truck here is a nightmare. Our main workbench is always covered in grease and metal shavings. We take our lunch breaks together in the small back room. It’s not a corporate setup at all. We wear our old overalls and get our hands dirty. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we just have to sit outside and wait it out. We know all the other shop owners around here pretty well. If we don’t have a specific bolt, the guy three doors down usually does. It’s just how things work in this part of Sarojini.
