Our spot for Careertrack Inc. is over in Mahipal Pur, New Delhi. The address is K-515, Street Number 21, in the Extension Part-II. If you have ever been to Mahipal Pur, you know it is right near the airport. You can hear the planes taking off and landing all day long, which becomes like background music after a while. The streets are narrow and usually packed with people, cars, and delivery bikes. Our office is in one of those buildings that feels like it was built in a hurry, with tight stairs and small rooms. We do recruitment and career tracking, so there is always a flow of people coming in for interviews or to drop off their papers. It gets pretty dusty because of all the construction nearby, so we are always wiping down the desks. It isn't a glamorous place, but it serves its purpose. We don't have a big HR team or anything; it is just a handful of us managing the load. Lunch is usually a roll or some parathas from the shop down the street. The traffic on the way to the Extension can be a real headache, especially in the evenings when everyone is trying to get onto the main highway. We just keep our heads down and try to help people find their next step. It is a busy, noisy, and very real part of Delhi to work in, but we are used to the pace by now.
