Career Strategy Solutions is our little office in Hari Nagar, specifically in the Nanak Pura area at WZ-431. We’ve been here for a bit, helping people figure out what they want to do with their professional lives. It’s a pretty basic setup—just some desks, chairs, and a few computers to keep track of everything. We spend our days talking to people who feel a bit stuck or just want to see what else is out there for them. Hari Nagar is a busy neighborhood, and Nanak Pura has a lot of houses and small businesses all mixed together. Our spot at WZ-431 is easy enough to find once you get into the lane. We don’t use any big fancy words or complicated systems; we just talk to people and try to help them get their resumes and plans in order. It’s often quiet in the mornings, but by the afternoon, we usually have a few people stopping by to ask questions or drop off their details. We deal with a lot of different industries, so we have to keep learning about what’s changing in the world. It’s not the kind of job that makes you famous, but it keeps us busy and we like being part of the community here. Most of our work is just staying organized and making sure we don’t lose track of anyone’s paperwork. Sometimes we have to stay late just to sort through the folders and update our lists. We find that a lot of folks just need someone to listen to their ideas before they take the next step, so that is mostly what our afternoons look like.
