Career Pointers

Our office is tucked away in 26/50 West Patel Nagar. If you know New Delhi, you know this part of the city is always moving. We have been working out of this space for a good bit of time now, helping people figure out where they want to go with their jobs. The address says Haryana sometimes on the old mail, but we are right here in the mix of things. It’s a standard setup with desks and a few old computers that hum a bit too loud when it’s quiet in the afternoon. We see a lot of young folks coming through the door looking for advice or a lead on a new role. Most of our day is spent on the phone or typing out emails. The walls are a plain color and we have a calendar that someone forgot to flip to the right month. It’s not the kind of place you’d see in a magazine, but it’s where we get things done. We usually have lunch together in the back or grab something from the vendors on the street. It’s a lot of talking and sorting through resumes. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and chat until it comes back on. It’s just how it goes here. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just matching people with work day by day and hoping for the best for them.
