Bright Tutorials

You can find Bright Tutorials right in the middle of Munirka. It’s a busy area, so there is always noise from the street outside, but we’ve gotten used to it. We mostly help students who live nearby or are staying in the PG accommodations around here. It started because a few of us realized that kids needed a bit more help than they were getting in their regular classes. We aren't a big chain or anything like that. Just a few rooms where we go over lessons and solve problems. Some days are more packed than others, especially when finals are approaching. We don’t have any fancy signs, just a small board so people can find the entrance. It's nothing special to look at, but we make sure the lights are bright and there are enough pens to go around. A lot of the students walk here after their school ends. We know most of the families in the area. Sometimes the tea stall guy brings us snacks if we are working through the evening. It’s a local operation, run by people who actually live around here. We just focus on the books and trying to make sense of the syllabus. If a student is confused, we just try a different way to explain it until it clicks. That’s the whole idea behind the place. We keep at it every day, even when the power cuts out and we have to use the backup lights to finish the session.
