Brahma Confectioners

Our shop, Brahma Confectioners, is over in Nangloi at F-154, Adhyapak Nagar. It’s a place where we make snacks, sweets, and some basic bakery items. The neighborhood is quite busy and Adhyapak Nagar always has kids running around and people going to work. Inside the shop, we have glass counters where we display whatever we made fresh that morning. You might see some biscuits, some samosas, or different kinds of local sweets. The back of the shop is where the real work happens with the big ovens and the deep fryers. It gets quite hot back there, especially when we are preparing a large batch of something. We have been at this F-154 address for a long time and the locals know us well. We aren’t a big fancy bakery, just a small confectioner where people can grab a quick snack or some sweets for their family. The shelves are often a bit messy and we are always wiping down the counters because of the flour and sugar. We open up early and stay open late into the evening. Most of our day is spent either in the kitchen or chatting with the neighbors who stop by for their daily bread. It’s a simple life and we just keep the ovens going and the display cases full as much as we can throughout the week.
