Bombay Bindi Center

Our shop, Bombay Bindi Center, is located at 5126 Rui Mandi in the Sadar Bazar area. If you know this part of town, you know it’s always busy with people moving around and carts blocking the lanes. We’ve been here long enough that the noise doesn’t really bother us anymore. We mostly handle bindis, as the name suggests. There are so many different types, from the simple small ones to the more decorative versions people wear for weddings or big events. We spend a lot of our day just organizing the packets and showing customers what we have in stock. It’s not a very big place, but we manage to fit a lot of variety inside. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when too many people come in at once, but we just make it work. Sadar Bazar is a tough place to navigate if you aren’t used to it, but Rui Mandi is where a lot of the action happens for stuff like this. We don’t have a big corporate team or anything. It’s just us running the daily operations and making sure we have enough stock for whoever walks through the door. We aren't trying to do anything fancy here. We just show up, open the shutters, and sell our bindis to the folks who need them. It’s a straightforward business and we like it that way. We just keep the shelves stocked and stay busy until closing time.
