We are located in the Kailash Building, specifically in units 709-711 on K.G. Marg. Being in the heart of New Delhi means the area is always buzzing with activity, lawyers, and office workers. This office is the hub for our sugar industry operations. We don't have any sugarcane growing here, obviously, but this is where all the planning and the heavy-duty administrative work happens. A lot of our time is spent looking at spreadsheets, tracking production numbers from the mills, and dealing with all the regulatory stuff that comes with the industry. The office has that classic government-area feel to it—solid, slightly old-fashioned, but it gets the job done. The view from the window is mostly other tall buildings and the busy street below. Sometimes it feels like we are miles away from the actual farms, but the work we do here keeps everything running smoothly at the ground level. We deal with a lot of mail and formal documents every day. It’s a professional environment, but we’re not stuffy about it. Most of us have been here for years, so we have a rhythm that works. When the sugar season is in full swing, things get much busier and we stay late to make sure the reports are accurate. It’s just the nature of the business we are in.
