We set up shop here on Jangpura Road, just off Mahakali Caves Road in Andheri East. It’s a busy part of Mumbai, as anyone who lives here knows. There’s always noise from the street, but we’ve gotten used to it. Our space is tucked away a bit. We don't have a giant neon sign, just a simple place where we do our work. Style India has been in this neighborhood for a while. We aren't a big chain or anything. It’s just us. We spend our days dealing with various fabrics and orders. The walls are covered in notes and sketches because we’re always trying to keep track of something. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. It’s a very human way to work. We don't use fancy marketing talk because we don't really know any. We just know how to do our jobs. People find us because they live nearby or they heard about us from a friend. That works fine for us. We try to keep things honest and straightforward. If something is going to take a week, we tell you it will take a week. No sugarcoating. It’s just a regular workplace with regular people. If you’re ever walking near the caves, you aren't far from us. We’re usually here from morning until the sun goes down.
