We run this tutoring spot at B-117 in Pandav Nagar. It is basically just a few rooms we set up with some simple wooden desks and plastic chairs for the students. We have been in this neighborhood for some time now and most families know the building. Mostly, kids from the nearby schools come over after their regular classes are done for the day. It gets pretty busy and a bit noisy around four or five in the evening. There are books and old notebooks piled up everywhere and sometimes the whiteboards don't get wiped down properly because we are in a huge rush to start the next session. It is not a big institution or a corporate center or anything like that. Just a local place where students can sit down and go over their math or science problems without too much distraction from the television at home. We try to keep things quiet during the lessons, but with a group of teenagers, that does not always happen like we want it to. Pandav Nagar is a bit of a maze if you are not from this area, but B-117 is easy enough to find once you know which lane to turn into. We don't have fancy technology or tablets, just some old-fashioned teaching methods and lots of practice papers that we print out. Sometimes we have to remind the students to stop talking about their friends and focus on their homework before the time is up. It is a simple setup, but it serves the purpose for the families around here who need a bit of extra help for their kids.
