About Bharat National Public School – Education in New Delhi
If you know Ram Vihar in Karkardooma, you probably know where Bharat National Public School is. We’re tucked into this part of Delhi where there’s always something happening on the streets. The morning rush is always a bit much, with rickshaws and parents on scooters trying to get through the narrow lanes. Our building isn't a skyscraper, but it holds a lot of people every day. Inside, you’ll find students chatting in the corridors and teachers carrying stacks of notebooks to the staff room. The walls have a few posters made by the kids, and some of them are starting to peel at the corners. We spend a lot of time just making sure the daily schedule stays on track. During the winter, the kids are all bundled up in their sweaters, and in the summer, we’re all just waiting for the lunch bell. The playground isn't huge, but it's enough for a game of catch or just standing around during recess. We have people from all over this part of Delhi coming here. It’s not a quiet place, but schools rarely are. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood filtering in through the windows, like the vegetable sellers or the honking cars. We just focus on getting through the lessons and making sure everyone gets home safely when the final bell rings at three. It’s a busy, noisy, real place to be every single day of the week, and we just deal with it.
