Bharat Beej Co has been operating out of Azadpur for quite a while now. You can find us at Bharola Gaon 128 if you happen to be in the area looking for seeds. It is a busy spot, especially when the season changes and everyone is looking to plant something new. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at, just a regular place with sacks of seeds stacked up against the walls. We spend most of our mornings talking to people who come in from the nearby farms or even just locals with small gardens. Sometimes the traffic in Azadpur makes it hard to get here, but once you arrive, it is just business as usual. My father started this a long time ago and we just kept it going because it’s what we know. There are days when it gets really dusty with all the grain and husks flying around, but that is just part of the job. We don’t really do much advertising or anything like that. Most people find us because they’ve been coming here for years or someone told them about 128 Bharola Gaon. It is a simple life, mostly just weighing out bags and making sure the inventory is okay. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the piles get a bit messy during the peak weeks. Anyway, that is pretty much who we are and what happens here daily. If you drop by, you'll probably see us drinking tea near the back counter.
