If you go down Gali No 12 in the Laxmi Nagar area of Delhi, you will find us at I 166. We are pretty close to Lalita Park, which is a landmark most people in the neighborhood know well. Being a school in this part of the city means things are always a bit noisy and crowded, but that is just how Laxmi Nagar is. Our building is not huge, but we make use of every corner we have. The day starts really early here with the sound of bells and kids talking in the hallways. You can hear the traffic from the main road sometimes, but once the classes start, everyone settles down a bit. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment or high-tech stuff, we just focus on the basics of teaching and making sure the students are actually learning something useful. The teachers usually hang out in the small staff room during breaks, drinking tea and talking about their lessons or just life in general. It is a very local feel, and many of us have been here for years. We know the parents and the shopkeepers around Gali 12 by their first names. It is not always perfect, sometimes a light bulb needs fixing or the stairs need a good sweep, but we take care of it ourselves. We are just a local school trying to do right by the kids in our community and keeping things simple for everyone.
