We’ve been at New Delhi House for quite some time now. Our office is up on the second floor, room 201, right in the middle of all the noise and bustle of Connaught Place. If you know Barakhamba Road, you know how busy it gets around here with all the traffic and people rushing to work. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes inside these older buildings, but we’ve made this space our own over the years. Most days it’s just us handling the paperwork and answering calls while the city moves outside the window. We started out small and stayed pretty grounded even as the area around us changed so much. It isn't a fancy setup with glass walls or anything like that, just desks, computers, and a lot of filing cabinets. We focus on the work we have in front of us. Some of our staff have been coming to this same spot for a decade, taking the metro or braving the parking situation downstairs. It gets hot in the summers, but the old building holds up well. We don’t spend much time on big speeches about what we do, we just show up and handle the day-to-day tasks. People stop by for meetings or to drop off documents, and we usually have some tea going. It's just a regular workplace where we try to stay organized and get things finished before the evening rush starts on the roads outside.
