We spend most of our time here at Bhikaji Cama Place. If you know the area, it's always crowded and getting a parking spot near Madan Bhikaji Cama Bhawan is a nightmare some mornings. We are up on the second floor in SF-8. It's a typical office setup with desks, some old filing cabinets that probably should have been replaced years ago, and plenty of tea being drunk throughout the day. We handle transport stuff. It basically means a lot of phone calls to drivers and checking where trucks are at all hours. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other times it's quiet enough to actually hear the traffic outside. We’ve been running things from this spot for a while now. Most of us have been working together for years so we know how each other likes their coffee or when someone needs a break from the screen. We don't have fancy decorations or a big lobby. It’s just where we come to get the work done and make sure things get from one point to another without too much trouble. Sometimes there are delays, that’s just how transport goes in this country, but we stay on top of it as much as we can. It’s a lot of paperwork and digital logs these days. The office gets a bit warm in the afternoons when the sun hits the windows, but we have the fans going. We just keep at it day by day.
