Our office is at F-5 in Hauz Khas Enclave. If you know the area, you know it’s a mix of busy markets and quiet little corners. We are tucked away in one of the enclave buildings. Aum Imexco (India) Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of this space for some time now. The office is usually full of boxes and samples because of the import-export nature of what we do. It’s not always the tidiest place, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time checking documents and making sure everything matches up. The walk from the main gate to the office is nice, especially when the weather isn’t too hot. We have a few windows that look out onto the trees, which is a nice break from looking at the computer screen all day. There are about five of us here regularly. We usually bring lunch from home and eat together at the big table in the middle. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed; we don't wear suits or anything like that. Sometimes we have to stay late when shipments are moving, but that’s just how the business goes. It’s a lot of coordination and talking to people at the ports. We just try to keep things moving without too much fuss. It’s a solid, local way to run things in this part of Delhi.
