Atul Kumar

We are based at 25-C, up on the first floor on S P Marg. It is right in the Chanakya Puri area, specifically the Railway Officers Enclave part of Delhi. It’s a pretty quiet spot compared to the rest of the city, which helps when you’re trying to focus on drawings or reading through papers. Atul Kumar is the name on the door, but it’s just a regular workspace where we spend most of our daylight hours. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful if you’re carrying anything bulky. Outside, the trees make the whole area feel a bit cooler, even when the Delhi summer is really kicking in. We’ve been at this 110021 zip code for a while now. Most mornings start with the sound of traffic from the main road, but once you get inside, it’s mostly just the sound of pens on paper or someone clicking a mouse. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a practical office with enough room for our tables and some old files stacked in the corners. Sometimes the power flutters, but that’s just part of being in this part of town. We usually get tea from a guy nearby, and that’s about the highlight of the afternoon. It’s a decent place to work, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the enclave. No big corporate vibes here, just a lot of work getting done daily.
