Asst.Store Keeper In Larsen & Toubo Ltd

I’m Ravi Basker and I work as an assistant store keeper for Larsen & Toubro Ltd. My workplace is right at the heart of the action at Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi. Specifically, I’m part of the ECCD division working on the T3 Project. If you’ve ever been to Terminal 3, you know how massive it is. My job is to keep track of all the materials and supplies that come in and out. It’s a huge responsibility because if we lose track of something, it can delay the whole construction process. I’m usually found in the middle of stacks of crates and inventory sheets. Being a store keeper means you have to be organized, even when everything around you is chaotic. The airport environment is always loud with planes taking off and the construction noise. New Delhi is a fast city, and working for L&T on such a big project means you don’t have much downtime. I handle everything from small bolts to large structural components. My days are spent counting items and checking them against the manifests. It’s a lot of physical work and a lot of paperwork too. I make sure the site workers have what they need to keep building. It’s a practical role, and I’ve learned a lot about logistics just by being here at T3. It’s interesting to see how a big airport actually gets put together piece by piece.
