Ase Ltd

Ase Ltd is located right on the Kumaon University Campus in Nainital. Being up here in the hills of Uttaranchal means the air is always a bit thinner and a lot colder than down in the plains. Our office is part of the campus grounds, so we see students walking to their classes all day long. The building is old and made of stone, which helps keep the heat in during the winter months when it snows. We have a small heater tucked under the main desk to keep our feet warm. The view out of our window is mostly trees and the roof of the next building down the slope. It’s a quiet place to work, which is nice. We have a lot of books and university papers stacked up on every available surface. There isn't much room to move around, but we manage. We usually walk to work because the roads are steep and parking is almost impossible on the campus. By the time we get in, we're usually ready for a hot cup of tea. Our work involves a lot of reading and checking through files. Sometimes the internet connection is a bit slow because of the weather or the location, so we have to be patient. It is a peaceful spot to spend the day, far away from the noise of the big cities. We usually leave before it gets too dark to see the path back down.
