Aravali Enterprises

Operating out of Gopinath Bazar in Delhi Cantt has its own feel. It’s a bit different from the rest of the city because of the military area nearby. Aravali Enterprises has been sitting on this street for a long time, watching the shops around us change hands and the trees grow taller. Our front door is a bit heavy and creaks if you don't push it just the right way. Inside, it’s just a normal shop with stacks of goods and a few old chairs for when the elders come in to chat. We don’t have any polished mission statements or glossy brochures. We just sell what people need for their homes and offices. The light in the back of the store is a bit dim, so I usually have to use a torch to find things on the top shelves. My hands are usually covered in some kind of dust from the stock, but that’s part of the job. I like the Gopinath Bazar vibe because it feels like a small town inside a big city. You see the same faces every Tuesday and Friday. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It’s a simple business where we count the stock, pay the bills, and talk to the regulars. Sometimes we close early if there’s a local festival, but usually, we’re here from dawn till the sun goes down. Most of our day is spent making sure the orders are filled correctly.
