We run things out of D-7 in the Golden Apartment complex over in I.P. Extension, Shahdara. It’s a residential-feeling area, which makes the office feel a bit more relaxed than a typical commercial building. We handle farm management and some other agricultural bits from here. It’s mostly paperwork and coordination. Since we’re in an apartment building, it’s a bit of a walk through the gate and past the security, but once you’re inside, it’s quiet. We have a couple of desks and a lot of maps and charts on the walls. It’s not a place where we have a lot of walk-in traffic, so we can actually get things done without too many interruptions. We spend our days talking to people out in the fields and making sure everything is running smoothly. Shahdara can get pretty congested, so we try to time our trips out of the office carefully. It’s just a few of us working here. We aren’t a big corporation with hundreds of employees. We’re just people who know a bit about farming and like to stay organized. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power goes out, but we manage. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and it suits us. It’s a practical place to work and it keeps us close to the city while we manage things further out. We just take things one day at a time here in the apartment.
