Ankur Foods

Ankur Foods is located over at Shahdara Asharam Marg 41390. We have been working out of this particular space for a long time. It is mostly a place where we handle different types of food products, getting them weighed and packed up for people to buy. The air inside usually smells like whatever spice or grain we are moving that day. It is a lot of manual labor, sitting and weighing things out or sealing up bags by hand. We don't really have any of those fancy automated systems, so it is just us and a couple of helpers getting the work done. The building is an older one, and we have had to patch up the roof a few times when the rains got bad. It is not a big corporate factory by any means, just a small local setup. We spend a good amount of time every day making sure the workspace stays clean because you have to be very careful when you are handling food. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because the traffic on Asharam Marg is a total mess, which can be frustrating. We just deal with it and stay a bit later in the evening to finish the packing. We aren't trying to become some giant company. We just want to make sure the stuff we put in the bags is decent and that the people buying it are satisfied. Some days are very long, especially when a big order needs to go out. We grab some tea from the stall nearby and keep going until the work is finished.
