Anand Traders

Anand Traders is tucked away on the first floor in Shidipura. The address is 8771/14B, which can be a bit tricky to find if you aren't familiar with the Karol Bagh area. It’s a busy neighborhood with lots of narrow streets and people everywhere. Our office isn't very large, but it’s enough for what we do. We have been in this spot for years. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the floorboards creak a little, but it has character. Most of the day is spent on the phone or talking to people who walk in. Since we are on the first floor, we get to see the street life below without being right in the middle of the noise. It’s a good balance. We handle a lot of trading from here, and the piles of stock sometimes take up more room than they should. But that’s just how trading goes. We don't have any fancy mission statements or slogans. We just open up in the morning, do the work, and close up when we are done. Our neighbors are mostly other small businesses, so we all look out for each other. If you come by, you might have to dodge a few scooters to get to the entrance. It’s just part of the experience of being in this part of Delhi. We keep things simple and try not to overcomplicate the daily routine.
