Being in the Anand Parbat Industrial Area means there is always a lot of noise. Our place, Harisons India, is at No. 98- A Street No. 9. It’s an industrial spot, so you can imagine the dust and the sound of machinery from the neighbors. It’s not the kind of place you come for a quiet chat. We are mostly focused on the daily grind. Usually, we start early before the sun gets too hot. The street outside is narrow and sometimes the trucks get stuck, which causes a big scene with everyone shouting. It’s just part of the day. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. Just a solid workspace where things get made or moved. We’ve been at this address for a long time. The building is old but it holds up. I spend a lot of time checking on the inventory and making sure the staff has what they need. It’s practical work. There isn't any big secret to what we do. We just stay at it. Sometimes we have tea from the stall at the corner of Street No. 9 and talk about how much the area has changed over the years. It’s a bit gritty here, but it’s where we belong. Harisons India is just a small part of this big industrial puzzle in Delhi. We don't mind the noise much anymore; it just sounds like work being done.
