Amit Rawal

I set up shop at F-458 in Krishna Nagar, which is right in the Kotla Mubarakpur area. It’s a 110003 pin code, so we are pretty central in New Delhi. This place is always humming with people and bikes. My office is just a regular room on the ground floor, which makes it easy to bring things in and out. I don’t have any fancy furniture. I picked up most of it second-hand because it does the job just fine. I spend most of my time here answering emails or talking on the phone. It can get a bit dusty with all the construction that always seems to be happening on the next street over, but that is just part of living in the city. I try to keep things simple. If you walk in, you’ll see a lot of notebooks and probably my lunch box on the side table. I don’t have a big corporate story to tell. I just needed a place to work for myself and this was the right price at the right time. Amit is my name, and this is where I spend most of my waking hours. It’s not perfect, but it’s mine. Some days are slow and some are incredibly busy, but I just take it as it comes. There is a nice park nearby if I ever need to clear my head for ten minutes and get away from the computer.
