Our office is located at 223/24 on the 1st Floor in Katra Peran. This is right in the heart of Tilka Bazar in Khari Baoli. If you know this part of the city, you know how crowded and energetic it is every single day. There are spices and goods being moved everywhere on carts, and the smell of the market is always in the air. Ameropa India Pvt Ltd has its space tucked away above the street level. You have to navigate through the narrow lanes and the crowds of shoppers to get to us, but that’s part of the charm of working in such an old area. We deal with trading, mostly fertilizers and grains, which fits well with the vibe of Khari Baoli. Our office is fairly simple. We have a few desks, some old filing cabinets, and a window that looks out over the chaos below. It’s a lot of shouting and horns honking outside, but we’ve learned to tune it out over the years. We spend our days talking to suppliers and checking the market prices. It’s a fast-paced environment and you have to be on your toes to keep up. We don't have any corporate art on the walls, just some maps and maybe a calendar. It’s a functional space for people who know the trade. We’ve been in this spot for a while and we don’t see ourselves moving any time soon. It’s where all the action is for us.
