Our office is located in the Nisha Complex, which is in Kalu Sarai in the Hauz Khas area. The address is 55B. If you know Kalu Sarai, you know it is always packed with people, especially students and those looking for various educational services. The complex itself is quite busy, with people constantly going up and down the stairs all day. Inside our office, we have a few desks and several large filing cabinets that are stuffed with records and applications. It is not a very big space, so we have to be careful about where we put everything to keep the walkways clear. There is a water cooler in the corner that we have to refill pretty often. The noise from the street outside comes right through the windows, so you can always hear the cars and the people shouting. We spend most of our time going through documents, checking forms, and talking to people who come in with questions about their admissions or various courses. It is a lot of desk work and phone calls throughout the day. We have a row of chairs against the wall for people to sit while they wait their turn to speak with us. It is a very functional place, not built for comfort but for getting the necessary paperwork done. The staff is usually busy typing away or looking through old files. It is just the way things go in a busy educational hub like this.
