Being located at G-145 in Puspa Vihar means we are right in the middle of a lot of activity here in New Delhi 17. The building stays relatively cool even when the Delhi heat starts picking up in May. At Agarwal Coaching, we spend most of our mornings getting the handouts ready and making sure the chairs are lined up straight for the afternoon sessions. The G-145 unit has a decent amount of light coming in from the side alley, which helps keep the place from feeling too cramped when it is full. We have a small area near the entrance where students leave their bags and shoes before they head into the main room. It can get a bit cluttered when twenty kids arrive at the same time, but it usually clears out quickly once they sit down. There is a small tea stall just a few doors down from us in Puspa Vihar, and the smell of ginger tea often drifts in through the windows in the late afternoon. We don’t have any fancy air conditioning, just a couple of sturdy ceiling fans that do the job well enough. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just keep the windows open and continue with the work by the natural light. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they are covered with charts and diagrams anyway, so it doesn't matter much. It’s a simple setup for serious work and we like it that way.
