Acoustic Engineers

We are Acoustic Engineers, and we are tucked away in FF-15 at the Anupam PVR Arcade in Saket. It's a bit of a different spot for an engineering outfit, being in a commercial arcade like this. Usually, you’d expect us to be in a big industrial shed, but this works for the kind of acoustic work we do. Saket is a busy area, so there’s always people moving around the arcade, going to the movies or grabbing food. Our office is on the first floor. It’s not very big, but it fits our computers and some of the testing equipment we use. We spend a lot of time looking at diagrams and doing calculations on paper. Sometimes the noise from the arcade can be a bit distracting, which is funny considering we work on acoustics for a living. We handle a lot of projects related to soundproofing and noise control. It’s mostly about figuring out how to stop sound from traveling where it shouldn't be. We don’t have a showroom or anything fancy to look at. If you come by, you’ll just see a bunch of us huddled around drawings or talking on the phone with site managers who are out in the field. It’s a small team here. We’ve been in this building for a while and the security guards know us by name now. It’s a decent place to get our work done without too much fuss. We usually head out for lunch at the nearby stalls.
