Academy Of Future Teachers Education is located in Prashant Vihar, specifically at A-53 near Madhuban Chowk in Rohini Sector 14. We’ve been here for quite some time now, focusing on training people who want to become teachers. The office isn’t anything special to look at, just some desks and classrooms filled with textbooks on education and teaching methods. It’s often quite busy because of where we are situated near the chowk. You can hear the traffic and the metro in the distance most of the day. We spend a lot of our time talking about lesson plans and how to manage a classroom. Sometimes we run out of chalk or the markers go dry right in the middle of a session, which is just how things go. The people who come here are usually very focused on their future careers, so the atmosphere is generally pretty serious but friendly. We have a small corner for tea and coffee where people can take a break between sessions. The building is older, and the paint is peeling a bit in the corners, but it doesn’t stop us from getting the work done. We aren’t trying to be a big fancy institution, just a local place where teacher training happens. It’s a simple routine of morning sessions and afternoon workshops. We’ve stayed in Rohini because it’s a good central spot for everyone to reach us easily without any trouble.
