A. K. Engineering Industries (I) Pvt. Ltd.

Our workshop is located over at A-8/4 in the Jhilmil Industrial Estate. If you have ever spent time in this part of town, you know it is absolutely packed with small units just like ours. We do quite a bit of metal work and general engineering stuff. It is mostly manual labor, though we do have some larger machines that help with the heavy lifting. The floor is usually covered in some kind of metal shavings or a bit of oil. It is just the nature of the work we do here at A. K. Engineering Industries (I) Pvt. Ltd. It is definitely not a quiet place to spend the day. There is always the sound of someone cutting something or a bit of welding going on. We have been in the Jhilmil area for a long time. The street right outside can get very cramped when deliveries are arriving. We mostly just keep our heads down and finish whatever work comes through the door. It is a lot of spare parts and small industrial components. Nothing too fancy or glamorous. We have a small office tucked into the far corner but I am usually out on the shop floor. The heat can get a bit much during the summer months, especially with the machines running. We just use a couple of big industrial fans to keep the air moving. Our team is a small bunch of guys who really know how to handle their tools.
