Vinodkumar Rice Traders is tucked away at 6-2-192 on Pappula Street, which is right in the heart of Nellore Bazar. The bazaar is a very crowded and lively place, and Pappula Street is no exception. It is the kind of street where you have to watch your step because there are so many people and goods moving around at once. Our shop is a narrow space packed with different varieties of rice that Nellore is famous for. We don't have a lot of room for extras, so every inch of 6-2-192 is used for storage or for serving the people who come in. The wooden counters are worn smooth from years of use, and the light inside is a bit dim compared to the bright sunshine out in the bazaar. We at Vinodkumar Rice Traders are used to the noise and the constant chatter of the marketplace. It is a very human place to work, where you are always talking to someone or weighing out a kilo of rice. We don't use any high-tech systems; it is mostly just us, our scales, and our customers. The smell of the bazaar, a mix of spices and grains, is always present. We have been part of the Nellore Bazar community for years, and we wouldn't know what to do with ourselves if we were anywhere else but this busy little spot on Pappula Street. Most days we are just busy keeping the bags organized as they arrive.
