Poojitha Sortex

We are located in Brahmanapalli Village, specifically at address 1-22 near the Vittamrajupalli Post. Being out in the village means things move at a different pace than in the town. Our main work involves the sorting machines, which is where the name Sortex comes from. We take in grains and use the equipment to separate the good stuff from the stones and bits of dirt that get mixed in during harvest. The machines are quite loud when they are running at full speed, and the whole building vibrates a little. It’s a dusty environment, so we try to keep the doors open for some air, even if it brings in the heat. Most of our neighbors are farmers or people who have lived in this mandal their whole lives. We see them coming by with their trailers full of produce, waiting for their turn at the machines. There isn’t much to the office, just a desk and a few chairs for when someone needs to sign a paper. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or advertisements. People around here know we are here and what the machines can do. It’s hard work, especially during the peak season when we stay late into the night. We just keep our heads down and make sure the grain is clean before it goes into the bags for shipping out to the next destination.
