About Jaganmohan Rice Mill – Food & Beverages in Nellore
Our place is out at Sry.No.332 in Cobaldpet, which is right near where the Conkar Rairailway lines run. You can hear the trains passing by pretty much all day long, which took some getting used to when we first started. The mill gets a bit dusty, especially when we are really busy during the peak months, but that’s just how it is with rice. We spend most of our time out on the floor or near the loading area. Cobaldpet isn't the biggest place, but everyone around here knows where the railway tracks are, so they usually find us without much trouble. The building itself is sturdy enough, though the roof rattles a bit when a heavy freight train goes past. We don't spend much time in an office; most of the work happens right where the grain is. There’s a small tea stall just down the road where we usually go for a break in the afternoon. It’s hard work, and the days are long, but we’ve got a rhythm down now. Sometimes the power goes out, and everything gets real quiet for a while until the generators kick in. We don't have any big signs or fancy lights. Most people just see the trucks lined up or hear the machinery running. It’s a plain, honest way to make a living, and we’ve been at it for years now. We just keep our heads down and do the milling until the job is done.
