Nawada Krishak Producer Company Limited

You can find us over at house number 12/1 in Sirdala. This is Ramswarup Mahto’s place in Laundh village. We started this producer company because the farmers in our Tola were struggling to get fair prices for their harvests. It’s mostly just us locals from the Laundh area working together. We don't have a big corporate setup or many employees. Instead, we just have a group of people who know how to till the earth. Sometimes the rain is late and we worry, other times the crops are plenty and we celebrate. We handle a lot of the basic stuff like collecting grains and figuring out where to send them. It’s a lot of manual labor and checking bags. Our address in Sirdala is where we meet to talk about the next season. We don't use any fancy words or have big meetings. Usually, it's just sitting around on some chairs outside the house. Every day is different depending on what needs doing on the farms. Some of us focus on the seeds while others look at the transport. It’s been tough getting everything organized under one name, but we are managing. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the families in our village have enough to keep going. If you’re ever near Block Sirdala, you’ll see our small sign near the panchayat area. We are just regular people doing regular farm work.
