Tom & Jerry Nursery & Play School

We are tucked into the Kasturi building in Sector 4, Sanpada. Being a nursery and play school, things are rarely quiet here in Navi Mumbai. We have two units, B-16 and B-17, which give the kids a bit of room to move around, but it still feels pretty full once everyone arrives in the morning. Tom & Jerry is just a simple place for toddlers to spend their day while their parents are at work. We have colorful mats on the floor and plenty of plastic toys scattered about. The walls have some drawings and alphabet charts that have seen better days. It is a noisy environment, but that is expected when you have a bunch of three-year-olds in one room. We spend a lot of time wiping sticky hands and helping kids learn how to share their blocks. It isn't a high-tech facility with tablets or fancy gadgets. We mostly stick to the basics like singing songs and playing outside when the weather isn't too humid. The staff here has been around for a long time, so we have seen many siblings come through the same doors over the years. It feels more like a big, messy home than a formal institution. We just try to keep the kids safe and occupied until pick-up time. Sanpada is a busy neighborhood, but inside these rooms, it’s all about the little things like nap time and snack breaks.
