Funville International Preschool

We are located in Mitha Tower, specifically at Plot No 41 in Vashi Sector 12. Being in Navi Mumbai, we are surrounded by a lot of tall buildings and busy streets. Our preschool is on the 504th unit. It is a space designed for small children, so we have soft mats on the floor and lots of plastic bins filled with toys and building blocks. The rooms are bright, though the paint is a bit faded in some spots where the kids have rubbed against it. Every morning, the hallway gets crowded with parents and toddlers. We hear a lot of rhymes playing from the speakers. The kids have a routine where they sit in a circle for story time or music. We have a small pantry where we keep their water bottles and snacks organized. The staff here are local people who enjoy being around kids. It’s not a very formal environment. We have fingerprints on the glass doors and drawings taped to the walls. Vashi is a busy area, but once you are inside our doors, it’s all about the children. We spend our days helping them with their shoes, teaching them how to share, and making sure everyone is safe. It’s a lot of work and it can get quite loud, especially during playtime. But that is just what a preschool is like. We don't have any corporate slogans; we just handle things as they come and try to keep the place running.
